The project started in March 2020. The kickoff meeting took place on 9 March 2020.
Monthly BINARY seminar
The progress of the project will be presented in the monthly BINARY seminar. The seminar will start after the kickoff meeting. The expected date of the seminar is the second Friday of the month, starting in April 2020. A schedule for the BINARY seminar is available here.
Annual BINARY meetings
In spring, the annual meeting will take place. All project scientists and principal investigators will meet and discuss the progress of the project as well as future directions.

Annual meetings of CSM
Since BINARY is embedded into the research field of computational sciences at Johannes Gutenberg University, we join the general annual meeting of Computational Sciences in Mainz (CSM), which is scheduled for early autumn in every year. Atmospheric physics autumn school 2020
In the week 5-9 October 2020 there will be an introduction to general atmospheric physics as well as special topics in atmospheric physics regarding the subprojects in the BINARY project. The talks will be given online, the schedule will be announced soon here.
